Bright and lustrous, this nicely preserved example exhibits deeply applied central and outer stamps with bold crisp inscriptions. The assay stamps are well struck, though off-center with slightly obscured inscriptions. Close inspection reveals several small scratches on one of the sides from long ago, now slightly subdued. Despite its shortcomings an attractive example with bright surfaces and plenty of luster that catches the eye.
