Li Yuan Hung without hat type; "TIIE" (missing crossbar) variety. A SCARCER variant of this "without hat" type, the present specimen displays very little evidence of circulation or time spent in commerce, with some great brilliance maintained in the fields and very clearly missing crossbar in "THE" at the beginning of the upper reverse legend. A wonderful opportunity for the collector of these issues, given the overall strong nature that this example offers.
