Appealing light brown with a bit of brighter gold tone in the fields from an old wiping. The hairlines are subtle and localized, and the overall impression is very positive. Both sides are nicely centered, and all design elements are boldly defined. The surfaces are surprisingly free of marks for the grade.<p><p>The distinctive Maris 19-M is tough in any decent condition, no matter the grade level. The superb 2019 EPU coin was graded EF-40 (PCGS), netting $7,200. Syd Martin owned the Bareford coin, a PCGS Fine-15 that sold for $3,840 last summer. PCGS# 767879.
