Rotated only a few degrees counterclockwise from coin alignment. Hard, satiny surfaces are toned in dominant golden-brown with a splash of copper-russet over the lower right obverse. The strike is generally sharp, although a bit uneven on the obverse, where original planchet roughness is seen at the right border. There are no post-production blemishes of note. Excessively rare variety when found with a plain edge, as here.
