元代張天師驅邪背十二生肖花錢。重 99.9 克。正面為张天师於右，两个邪祟向左逃窜，莲花方牌上书"张天师"。反面地支环绕中央圆孔，相应生肖动物於外环，外环内环有回纹隔开。保存良好的大尺寸花钱。黄铜色包浆浓郁，图文之间轻微积土，开扬处有经手痕跡，但仍保留些许原始粗糙感。原始品相，必定引来藏家关注。(t) CHINA. Yuan Dynasty. Zodiac Charm, ND. Obverse: Celestial Master Zhang at right, two small figures running left, three character inscription within cartouche above; Reverse: Twelve characters around central hole with corresponding lunar animals near edge, Greek style border between. The nicely preserved large format issue displays mottled rich brassy patina with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices. The exposed fields do show signs of handling, but do retain some of the naturally rough surface texture in the protected areas. This wholly original looking survivor offers a pleasing appearance that is sure to catch the attention of collectors of this series.
