Qiuzi (Kucha), a pair of Wuzhu cash coins from Qiuzi (modern day Kucha County of Xinjiang), circa 3rd to 7th century AD, Qiuzi was one of the states of the ancient Western Region and under the jurisdiction of the Xiyu Duhufu of the Han Dynasty. As a result, the cash coins were also heavily influenced by the Wuzhu coins in circulation in the Han Dynasty, but with the Chinese characters Wuzhu in seal script struck on one side and the equivilant of it in Qiuzi s own language on reverse, thus such coins are referred to as Han-Qiuzi bilingual cash . They are believed to be in circulation from late Eastern Han Dynasty till the end of Sui Dynasty. Fine to Good condition, with one showing a crack. An attractive addition to any discerning collector of ancient Chinese coins!(2) Dr. Werner Burger Collection
