Pleasing circulated cameo effect with steely-charcoal outlines to design elements that provide strong contrast with otherwise deep rose and golden-brown patina. The strike is a bit tight to the upper border on the both sides, but to no great detriment as the overall design is bold. Generally smooth in hand, we note only a few well scattered marks or other blemishes. A nice mid grade offering for this scarcer Guide Book variety of the historic Fugio cent. PCGS# 904.
