Robustly struck, this flashy minor from Kiangnan displays much luster and strong details. Seldom encountered in this condition, early pieces from Kiangnan often are problematic, with this specimen acting as a nice change of pace. Some hints of flan roughness are noted, but such a small detraction should do nothing to dissuade the bidder from placing a premium bid upon this stellar example.
