Obverse: Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving quadriga right; above, crowning Nike flying right; Reverse: Forepart of man-headed bull right; to right, Sosipolis standing left, holding [kerykeion] and placing wreath on bulls head; all within incuse circle. Struck from a fairly weak obverse die, this impressively pedigreed specimen yields great detail on the reverse and features a fantastic scene with Sosiopolis--a protectress of the city of Gela.
