CHINA. Szechuan-Tibet. 1/2 Rupee, ND (1904-12). Chengdu Mint. NGC AU-58. L&M-361; K-595; KM-Y-2; WS-0776. <strong>SCARCE</strong> <strong>GRADE</strong>. Population of three with only five having reached a mint state grade at NGC. Vastly superior to the typical example seen, nearly all others show far more wear. The scroll work in the jacket is razor sharp and nearly as struck, and with just a hint of wear across the portrait. Light tone and free of major marks.
