CHINA. Szechuan. 3.6 Candareens (5 Cents), ND (1898-1908). PCGS Genuine--Cleaning, Unc Details. L&M-351; K-149; KM-Y-234; WS-0746. Doubled Die Obverse (DDO) variety. This handsome little minor silver coins exhibits a bold strike with good definition of the details and mottled patina. Close inspection reveals evidence of a past cleaning, now slightly subdued. Despite its shortcomings an interesting example where the whole word "CANDAREENS" is double punched adding an interesting diagnostic to this issue.
