Pair of Worlds Columbian Exposition Entrance Passes to the Opening Ceremonies, May 1st, 1893. Virtually As New, but one with a light corner stain. 65 mm x 102 mm. Printed forms on pink card. Engraved signature of H.N. Higinbotham, President of the Exposition. Serial numbers in red, 658 and 673. Both have the name of the party to be admitted lightly penciled in, but they are not legible. A very attractive pair for entrance to the grand public opening of the fair held at Jackson Park on May 1, 1893. While these were among the Putnam items, both names on these passes seem to read "Mrs.", and neither seems to be Mrs. Putnam. (Total: 2 pieces)
