Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig to left; all within incuse square. A tremendously attractive and pleasing archaic issue, this example offers a well centered strike on the obverse with a good deal of the helmet crest visible. Meanwhile, the surfaces overall present great originality and exhibit only light handling.
