Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; Reverse: Athena seated left on throne, holding crowning Nike and resting elbow upon shield; to inner left, head of lion left; monogram on throne. Quite bold and captivating, this gunmetal gray specimen features a well centered strike and some darker hints accentuating the devices. The star designation for superior eye appeal is clearly well deserved.
