The mintages for all three denominations are unknown. The obverses bear the legend “GUANG HU YUAN BAO” in Chinese and Manchu languages, with the words “the General Mint” on the upper fringe, the denomination on the lower fringe, and dots on the left and right. The reverse has the Chinese words for "minted in the Reign of Guang Xu" and additional words in English. The highest grade assigned by NGC is MS65.
