Graded "AU" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company. 云南三槽解锭。地方汇款锭（三个戳记）5两银锭。重180.7克。陈元昌记汇号纹银。官公估童看。包浆浓郁，保存得当，外戳及中央戳记压印深刻，验戳深峻。 中央可见小凹陷，属此版常见特徵，但不显碍眼。原汁原味，显然经长期静置，品相绝佳。<p>(t) CHINA. "Chen yuan chang ji hui hao wen yin" (Chenyuanchang Bank, remittance bank fine silver), "Guan gong gu tong kan" (Inspected by official public assayer Tong). This richly toned and nicely preserved survivor exhibits deeply impressed outer and central stamps with bold clear assay stamps. A small void is noticed in the central stamp as is commonly encountered on these issues, but hardly a distraction. This wholly original looking example clearly sat for a prolonged period of time undisturbed adding to its pleasing appearance.
