(t) CHINA. Yunnan Yuansi Changyuankezi. Fine Silk Oval Ingots. Silver 2 Tael Ingot, ND. Graded MS 62+ by GBCA Grading Company. (t) CHINA. Yunnan Yuansi Changyuankezi. Fine Silk Oval Ingots. Silver 2 Tael Ingot, ND. Graded MS 62+ by GBCA Grading Company.BMC-Class LXXXV. Weight: 76.5 gms. Obverse: "Wang Yuan Liang"; Reverse: "Feng" raised. A bright and lustrous example displaying light attractive mottled patina with a fairly well applied stamp and a nearly complete character on the reverse, though the characters on the obverse are slightly hidden by the patination. A type the seldom appears on the market sure to pique the interest of many collectors.<p>Interesting to note that the reverse exhibits the raised character "Jing", this could only occur if the surface in which the silversmith or merchant who applied this stamp used a mould of some sort to place the ingot on so when the obverse stamp was applied metal would be pushed down into the surface in which is sat.
