1859-O Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. OC-3. Rarity-2. MS-64 (ANACS). OH.Delicate golden iridescence drifts over satiny luster on both sides of this sharply to fully struck example. Thanks to the emergence of examples of each issue in the Treasury Department silver dollar releases of the early to mid-1960s, the 1859-O and 1860-O are the two most available No Motto Liberty Seated dollars in Mint State. The 1859-O is considerably scarcer than the 1860-O. Since virtually all examples that emerged from Treasury Department holdings are heavily abraded, both issues remain scarce to rare above the MS-62 level. Indeed, this Choice 1859-O is a strong candidate to represent the No Motto Liberty Seated dollar in a high grade collection.PCGS# 6947. NGC ID: 24YY.From the Steve Studer Collection.
