MS-62 (NGC).Sharply defined over most focal features, this otherwise satiny example exhibits reflectivity in the fields. A predominantly brilliant coin, blushes of pale iridescent reddish-apricot are seen across both sides. Early New Orleans Mint half dollars, while generally obtainable in circulated grades, are scarce to rare in Mint State and always in demand. This late die state example was struck from a remarriage of the WB-2 dies after the Mint delivered those coins now known by the WB-3 attribution.PCGS# 6246.
