UMAYYAD: AE fals (1.19g), NM, ND, A-191X, in the name of Hassân b. Khalid (bism Allah / mimma amara / (bihi) hassân bin / khalid), third known example of this governor, VG, RRR. Hassân b. Khalid (al-Asadi) served in the forces of Nasr b. Sayyar near Balkh in AH106, and was later appointed governor of Samarqand in AH125 (according to al-Tabari). An identical example was sold in our Auction 37, Lot 271, and a somewhat different example of the same governor was sold in our Auction 27, Lot 231.
