Obverse: Jugate bare heads left; Reverse: Crowned imperial double eagle facing, with crown above, wings spread, coat-of-arms on breast, and holding scepter and orb. An ever-popular and RARE type issued for the young couples coronation, this rather hefty and impressive gold issue features matte surfaces that are mostly free from issue and present a great golden-yellow hue. As noted on the holder, some rim damage and repair has occurred, but it does not interfere with the design elements and is fairly consistent with the others of this type in that they also are likely to exhibits rim issues.
