1921 Morgan Silver Dollar--Struck Off Center--MS-62 (ANACS). Struck off center just before 6 oclock relative to the obverse, this impressive piece exhibits nearly ideal clock positioning for a Mint error of this type. Unstruck planchet is evident along the upper obverse and lower reverse borders, all major design elements present on both sides, and virtually all with razor sharp detail. Brilliant throughout with billowy mint frost to the struck portions of the surfaces, this is a visually appealing example of a major Mint error from the final year of the perennially popular Morgan dollar series. Rare, especially since the Mints higher standards for quality control for silver dollars resulted in most error coins being intercepted before distribution.
