Plenty of softly frosted luster remains, the design elements universally sharp in striking detail to further confirm the AU rating from PCGS. A few faint pin scratches in the obverse field are noted, while concentrations of wispy hairlines explain the qualifier. The 1800 BD-5 and BD-2 varieties are perennial favorites among advanced gold collectors seeking a single example of the Capped Bust Right, Heraldic Eagle five-dollar gold type as they are the most "common" varieties of the date.
