Pretty pinkish-gold undertones backlight dominant brassy-gold patina on both sides of this exceptionally well preserved example. Satiny surfaces are hard and tight with universally bold striking detail throughout the design. S. Whited & Co. is one of the more frequently encountered sutlers in numismatic circles, but few of their tokens are as nice as this Choice Mint State piece.
