Tied with just three other specimens for the finest certified across both services, this tremendous example presents searing brilliance and radiating luster. The fields remain quite clean despite the hairlines which can oft plague these medals, and the overall eye appeal is rather stunning. A great opportunity for the coronation which marked the beginning of the Germanic House of Hanover, Georges predecessor, Anne, having been the final ruler from the House of Stuart that had started with James I in 1603.
