A VERY RARE and attractive specimen, this incredible piece is exceeded by just two examples across both services. The alluring, bold strike is paired with a planchet blessed with a golden-orange hue with hints of cobalt and burgundy as one approaches the peripheries. Its sage to say that, of the already paltry mintage in gold, a precious few have survived the melting pot, with far less retaining this much charm and beauty.
