A loupe reveals doubling to the letters in the word LIBERTY and the beads around Libertys headband -- the diagnostics of this Doubled Die Obverse variety. This interesting example of the otherwise readily obtainable 1873 Open 3 double eagle will hold particular appeal for gold variety enthusiasts.
