1914 Indian Quarter Eagle. MS-63 (NGC). Lovely honey-orange surfaces exhibit tinges of pale pink under a light. The texture is frosty and there is a sharp strike throughout the design. With a mintage of just 240,000 circulation strikes, the 1914 quarter eagle is the second rarest issue in the Indian series in terms of total number of Mint State coins extant, behind only the famous 1911-D.
