1909 Barber Quarter. Proof-68 (PCGS). CAC. The most dazzling array of iridescent colors adorn both sides of this vividly and beautifully toned Proof. Shades of golden-orange, salmon pink, steel-olive, charcoal-copper, sea green and purple are all evident, perhaps the most intense colors evident on the reverse at the eagles head, left wing, and the right half of the scroll. Virtually pristine with full striking detail and deeply mirrored fields, it is difficult for us to imagine a more captivating survivor from a mintage of 650 Proof quarter of the date. Extraordinary!
