GUATEMALA. 8 Pesos, 1864-R. NGC AU-55.Fr-33; KM-184. A lovely lightly handled example with a nice original skin. The high points and open fields of the obverse exhibit a nice yellow gold color with attractive sunset hues are present around the legends and devices. The reverse displays more even tone with a nice yellow gold color atop of the devices and portions of the open areas combined with pervasive light orange-red patina throughout. An attractive representative of the type with good eye appeal sure to please.
