Both sides are curiously glossy in texture, but the surfaces are pleasantly retoned in a blend of olive and autumn-brown patina. Well centered in strike with most design elements boldly to sharply defined. Choice About Uncirculated is a scarce and desirable level of preservation for a Classic Head cent of any date or die marriage, the type among the more conditionally challenging in all of U.S. numismatics.
