Obverse: Minerva (representing Europe) seated left, resting elbow upon shield (adorned with Europa and the bull) and receiving palm frond from Genius standing to left; around, heads of the various European leaders between standing angelic figures, some trumpeting, some with wreaths; Reverse: Legend in six lines within floral border. Edge: Plain. An exceptionally lustrous and prooflike gem, featuring rich, chocolate brown surfaces and alluring high relief.
