Obverse: Archangel Michael slaying dragon to lower right, holding spear topped by cross-crosslet; Reverse: Ship bearing shield and cross; E to left, rose to right. Despite some minor weakness on the archangel, this piece remains a rather boldly struck example for the type, with good centering and a charming reddish tone adding further allure throughout.
