GREAT BRITAIN. Noble, ND (1422-27). London Mint. Henry VI (first reign). NGC MS-62.S-1799; Fr-112; North-1414. Annulet issue; im: -/lis. Obverse: Henry, holding sword and shield, standing facing in ship; Reverse: Ornate cross with lis at each end and Һ in center; lions passant in each quarter; all within polylobe, with alternating crowns and lis in arches and trefoils in all but one spandrel, the other spandrel with an annulet. An exemplary example, scarcely encountered so bold and well preserved. The strike is strong, even within the legends, and the luster radiates throughout. Worthy of intense focus and consideration.
