A RARE type that possesses far superior surfaces to those seen in archived auction results, so much so that had it graded Mint State, one could have hardly found objection. As it is, likely assigned its grade due to some characteristic softness in the strike as well as a small planchet flaw on Wilhelm Vs cheek. Otherwise, the surfaces remain fairly close to as-made with bold luster, virtually no tone and only trivial forms of handling.
