Fr. 234*. 1899 $1 Silver Certificate Star Note. PMG Very Fine 30. Inverted Back Error.According to the fourth edition of the United States Paper Money Errors by Dr. Frederick J. Bart, there are just 16 inverted back large size star errors known which includes this newly discovered example. There is just one other Fr. 234* inverted back, but it is listed with no grade. This 1899 One Dollar note shows with very pleasing even circulation and strong detail for the technical grade. The first star inverted back error we have ever handled.
