SwatowBritish Consular Post1867 (18 Nov.) a small Wingate envelope to Swatow by U.S. Mail via Panama bearing 1861-62 10c. deep green cancelled by indistinct circle and ink strokes and a faint Stratham despatch c.d.s., there is a fine strike of large letters paid all struck in red with a fine strike of Swatow type B arrival c.d.s. and, on the reverse, New York (21.12) and Hong Kong (15.2) c.d.s. A charming and delightful cover with the arrival c.d.s. on the address side. Photo
