拍品描述： 1864年2月汕头寄汉堡蓝色信封, 左上角盖红色"VIA TRIESTE" 章, 有香港红色框型"PAID"戳, 并有蓝笔手写邮资"8"字, 另有其他的邮资记号如Trieste的"6"; 封背有红色椭圆形汕头Dick & Co.的转递戳, 2月28日香港中转戳及4月13日汉堡到达戳; 相信此是经英国在汕头客邮局寄出的最早期封, 罕见. SwatowBritish Consular Post1864 (Feb.) blue envelope to Hamburg via trieste with boxed paid in red struck in Hong Kong, 8 rate mark in blue crayon and other rate marks including handstruck 6 of Trieste; the reverse with a fine strike of oval forwarded by/dircks & co/swatow in red (not listed in Rowe) with Hong Kong (28.2) and Hamburg (13.4) c.d.s.; there is some damage to the flap.An appealing cover which is thought to be the earliest cover from Swatow sent through the British Consular post.
