1882 Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-67 (PCGS).Brilliant surfaces are fully struck with bountiful mint frost. Circulation strike silver dollar production at the Philadelphia Mint amounted to 11,100,000 coins in 1882, a generous total for the type. Although plentiful in lower grades through MS-64, the 1882 emerges as a scarcer issue at the MS-65 level. In Superb Gem Mint State, as here, it is very rare, seldom offered, and represents an important find for advanced Morgan dollar collectors. Lovely!PCGS Population: 13; with a single MS-67+ finer in this category.
