The Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China, $500, printers model of a proposed design for the series of 1911, uniface obverse, purple-red, black and yellow, bank coat of arms, at upper centre, bank title in arched form, sampan and junk boat on water with a pagoda in the background, denomination and Hong Kong in Chinese and English text within the borders, this design is noticeably different to the issued version in the following areas: the bank title banner, the centre of the left and right borders, the serial numbers, the geometric design around the centre vignette and the overall underprint,(Pick not listed, but proposed for Pick 46), PMG 62 Uncirculated.
