Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bank of Pennsylvania. ND (18xx). $10. PMG About Uncirculated 55. Specimen.(PA-480 G176d) Toppan, Carpenter, Casilear & Co. Phila. & New York. Face and back impression on card. The face printed in blue with Pennsylvania Coat of Arms at center, male portraits in bottom corners, die counter 10s at top left and right. Large red microlettered protector reading X TEN X at center. Ornate back printed in red with title at center and denomination counters to left and right. There are 11 POCs in the signature panels. The grading service has labeled this plate impression a proof. Being two sided and not on India paper we tend to lean towards terming this a specimen. It comes sharply printed and fully margined on thick cardstock. There are minor hinge remnants in the back top corner as mentioned by the grading service. No doubt a rare item and the only suck example we have seen.
