PCGS Currency Extremely Fine 45.(US-3 G106) A boldly designed and imposing $5000 Post Note issued by this third iteration of the Bank of the United States. An allegorical female with capped staff and scroll reading "POST NOTE 5000" is seen at left. The columned bank building is at center. William Penns portrait appears at right. 5000 counters are in the corners. This example was payable twelve months after the date of issue at the office in New York. Multiple interest paid stamps are found on the face while a manuscript "pay to" endorsement is on the verso.From the Green Valley Collection.
