1914-S Barber Dime. MS-67 (NGC).This beautifully toned example exhibits multicolored target toning that is bolder and more varied on the obverse. Both sides are universally frosted in finish with needle sharp striking detail throughout the design. The 1914-S is an underrated condition rarity among late date San Francisco Mint dimes of this type, rarer at and above the MS-65 level than the 1906-S, 1911-S, 1912-S and even the low mintage 1913-S. This virtually pristine Superb Gem is sure to have no difficulty finding its way into a highly regarded Barber dime collection.
