拍品描述： 1838 Liberty Seated Half Dime. No Drapery. Large Stars. MS-67 (PCGS).Offered is a vividly toned Superb Gem half dime, with mottled cobalt blue and reddish-gold on the obverse. The reverse exhibits a nearly complete halo of olive-gray iridescence around a pearl gray center. It is sharply struck in most areas, displays full satin luster and virtually pristine surfaces. The 1838 is one of the more frequently encountered early date Liberty Seated half dimes in Mint State, although much more difficult to acquire with the outstanding technical quality and eye appeal offered here. The brevity and beauty of the Stars Obverse, No Drapery design also confirms that this is an important bidding opportunity for high grade type collectors.ppp
