FRANCE. Ecu, 1719-(9). Rennes Mint. Louis XV (1715-74). NGC MS-63.Dav-1327; KM-435.26; Gad-318; Dr/5-743. An <em>ecu</em><em> de France-Navarre</em> struck at the Rennes mint in Brittany. A better date of a <strong>SCARCE</strong> type, intricately detailed throughout the design and attractively toned with soft gray color in the centers and fiery-gold and electric-blue flares among the peripheries. Several instances of minor adjustment marks appear at the edges, but they do little to diminish the eye appeal of this wonderful survivor.
