CANADA. Imperial Bank of Canada. 50 Dollars, 1907. CH-375-12-16S. Specimen. PMG About Uncirculated 53.Specimen overprints and punch cancels. A fantastically rare Waterlow and Sons produced Imperial Bank of Canada $50 design that is the first we have handled in any form. The note shows in a very large format with Queen Alexandra at center with surrounding ornate under-printing. This series is typically only encountered in the lesser denominations with the $20 and above denominations all being very challenging in any form. This is the sole note for the design PMG has graded with no issued notes present in their population report. PMG mentions "Toning," in the comments section of the holder which is overall even. A very important opportunity for the advanced collector of Canadian chartered banks.PMG About Uncirculated 53.From the Collection of Dr. James Eustace Bizzell, II.
