NO LOT.This 10 Dollars, 10 Piastres, 50 Shillings note from the Quebec Army Bill office was legal tender in 1815 and used at issue to pay the troops, and purchase supplies during the War of 1812. This is the last of four different dated issues documented in the Charlton book. These pieces are extremely difficult to find as almost all of them were redeemed in 1815 because they would no longer accrue any interest after that time. The note itself carries the Commander of the Forces hand-written signature and is Serial Number 4524. It is found in Very Fine condition due to the folds seen through the thin paper. Overall, all of the impressions remain very strong on this uniface bearer instrument.PCGS Currency Very Fine 30.
