COLOMBIA. Banco de la República de Colombia. 1 Peso Oro. January 1, 1926. P-371.The American Bank Note Company printed 1926 and 1928 series notes use the same designs as 1923, but in different issue colors. The stability of the currency at this time meant most notes circulated heavily until replaced with later notes. The lowest denomination Peso notes were printed on the face in blazing fire orange inks and are very impressive. Fortunately, some were saved of this impressive type. This is nearly a Gem issued note and a perfect type piece.
