GREAT BRITAIN. Unite, ND (1628-29). Charles I (1625-49). NGC EF-45.9.02 gms. S-2688; Fr-246; KM-151.1; N-2149; Woodhead-127. Third bust. Anchor mintmark. Charming quality for the issue with delicate wear over the surfaces and warm orange tone around many of the raised surfaces. Attractively produced as well with the flan being flat and nearly entirely round and the strike showing only moderate doubling on the obverse. Due to its size, the Unite issue was often used in jewelry throughout the centuries, making this example particularly desirable for its retained originality.NGC EF-45.
