GOULD & SON, / MANUFACTURERS / FINE / STAIR RODS / 69 / WARREN ST., N.Y. The pink paper shows no flaws of significance. The obverse shows some loss of silvering, and appears somewhat mottled. Manufactured by T.N. Hickcox & Co. Stair rods are devices engineered to hold carpeting securely to staircases.
